Twelve Powers in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
The twelve powers = the twelve faculties of the human mind — faith, strength, love, wisdom, imagination, will, understanding, zeal, power, order, renunciation, life. They are not twelve men. The Bible pictures them as the twelve disciples, the twelve tribes, the twelve gates, the twelve baskets left over — the complete equipment of a mind that has awakened.
