Sheshan in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
whitish; bright-colored; oriental lily; brilliant; shining; free; noble; princely. A descendant of Jerahmeel of the tribe of Judah (I Chron. 2:31-35). Meta. A freeing, ennobling thought activity (whitish, shining, free, noble) in the phase of the high, true, religious consciousness of man that Judah signifies. This thought activity is of a very high, honorable character and is in line for rulership (princely). But it brings results at first only on the soul plane (Sheshan had no sons, but he had daughters), and from there it continues its work in the individual in a more definite and positive way. (Sheshan's lineage was preserved through his daughter Ahlai, who married his Egyptian servant Jarha. Attai was their son. See AHLAI, JARHA, and ATTAI.)
