What Does the Scorpion Mean in the Bible?
Scorpion = a stinging thought that turns on you — the sharp, poisoned idea you let in and now feel. A state of mind, not a creature under a stone.
How it shows up in the Bible
Jesus asks which father hands his son a scorpion instead of an egg. He is not talking about animals. He is talking about what a mind is given when it asks, and what it fears being given instead — something that looks small and edible and stings on the way down. Scorpions also appear underfoot in the sending out: power over the thing that stings is part of the equipment.
Read the whole map. Every symbol in the Bible is a state of your own mind — the book lays out the entire system, from Genesis to Revelation, in plain language.
