Rei in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism

friendly; companionable; sociable; lovable; inclination; thought; desire; will; nourishing; feeding; shepherding. One of David's mighty men. He remained friendly to David and would not join Adonijah in his conspiracy against David, to take the throne (I Kings 1:8). Meta. The inner assurance of the individual that Jehovah is a friend and a shepherd to him. This in turn begets a feeling of good will and kindly interest in the individual toward others (friendly, companionable, lovable, nourishing, shepherding)."We love, because he first loved us" (I John 4:19). This kindly, friendly, good-will attitude of mind belongs to and is a strong asset of the love (David) quality in man (Rei was one of David's mighty men, one who stayed with David at a time when he needed help).
