whom Jehovah upholds; whom Jah sustains; refreshed by Jehovah; who lays hold of Jah; cleaving to the Lord. A Levite; he was an overseer in the Temple service, during the reign of Hezekiah (II Chron. 31:13). He was one of the overseers over the oblations, tithes, and dedicated things that were brought by the people of Judah to the Temple. Meta. Cleaving to the Lord, joined to Spirit--man in his true, inner, spiritual consciousness sensing his oneness with the Divine and holding faithfully to God as his support and supply."
