Disciples in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
The 12 disciples = the 12 powers, or states, of your own mind (faith, strength, love, wisdom, imagination, will, and the rest). They are not 12 men from Galilee. Jesus called 12 disciples to show that each of us has 12 powers of mind that must be awakened and led by the Christ within.
