Denial in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
Denial = clearing out a false belief before you plant a true one. It is not refusing reality; it is refusing a lie about yourself — 'I am not weak, not abandoned, not a victim of circumstance.' Denial pulls the weeds, affirmation plants the seed. The Bible does both in one breath: 'Get thee behind me, Satan' (deny the error), then 'Thou art the Christ' (affirm the truth).
