Bedeiah in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
servant of Jehovah; servant of Jah. An Israelite who had a foreign wife after the return to Judea from the Babylonian captivity; he was"of the sons of Bani" (Ezra 10:35). Meta. A thought of service to God (servant of Jehovah), but not yet set free in the full light of understanding. Until wisdom is completely unified to love in man's consciousness, man is likely to become carried away at times by his feelings, or emotions, or personal affections (a foreign wife), instead of always living and acting according to divine guidance.
