Perida in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
Perida, pe-ri'-då (Heb.)-- broken off; separated; dispersed; divided; scattered; seed; grain; kernel; germ. A servant of Solomon's, whose"children" returned from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 7:57). He is called Peruda in Ezra 2:55. Meta. The main point, or central, vital idea existing in any matter that might come before our inner wisdom for adjustment (kernel, separated, a servant of Solomon's: Solomon signifies the reign of peace, and he was noted for his wisdom, for his ability to get at the very heart of any matter and discern the real truth, to judge righteously). The thought of analysis enters into the significance of Perida, and a scattering or sowing abroad, throughout the consciousness, of the central idea that has been gleaned by the analysis of the matter or situation in question.
