Pasach in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism

cutting up; cutting off; dividing; considering decisively; part; piece; halting; limping; lame. Son of Japhlet and descendant of Asher (I Chron. 7:33). Meta. A deeply analytical and positive tendency of thought (cutting up, considering decisively, dividing), but more from a human or intellectual than from a spiritual standpoint. The result therefore is not a perfect deduction, or perfect understanding. (Halting, limping, a lameness in walking, signifies some kind of flaw in the phase of one's understanding that comes into contact with the outer conditions of life.)
