Parvaim, pär-va'-im (Heb.)-- eastern; original; primal; prior; anterior; virgin purity; pure virgin gold. A place that produced the very finest quality of gold (II Chron. 3:6). Solomon used gold from Parvaim in building the Temple. Parvaim is thought to be the same place as Ophir. Meta. In Scripture symbology east always signifies the within. Parvaim therefore (meaning eastern, and being a country that produced the very finest quality of gold) would refer to the inner Christ mind or consciousness, whence comes our very highest and purest comprehension of divine wisdom and substance.
