Born Again in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism
Born again = having a new mind — leaving the old thinking behind and taking up a new, revived way of thinking with Jesus (your imagination) and faith. It is not a church ritual or a physical rebirth. To be born again is to stop living from the old, fearful, outer mind and start living from the newborn inner truth. And it is kept alive by tithing — giving a tenth of your daily thoughts to Jesus so the new mind stays strong (see TITHE): the practice and the new mind belong together. The old man of error falls away, and a new way of seeing and creating takes its place — the same rebirth pictured in the ark, the crucifixion, and the third day.
