Abihu in the Bible — Hidden Meaning & Symbolism

father is (he who is) God; whom he (God) is father of; he who is (my) father; God is father. One of the sons of Aaron. With his father and his brothers, he was set apart for the priesthood (Exod. 6: 23; 28: 1; Lev. 10: 1, 2). Meta. The priesthood points to the Christ, sonship. The Christ, the Son of God, was perfectly demonstrated in Jesus Christ, and must be demonstrated in all men. Abihu stands for an idea of divine sonship (father is God; God is father).
